Jikas Jewels2023
What became Jikas Jewels didn't start with that name. The brand emerged through a close collaboration between client and designer — where the naming itself became part of the design process.
Problem
The client had a product and a vision for a jewelry brand, but no name and no identity. Starting from scratch meant the first deliverable wasn't a logo — it was a name worth building a brand around.
Approach
The name 'Jikas Jewels' came from the process: catchy, alliterative, and memorable in the way jewelry brand names need to be. With the name established, the logo direction could be grounded in the brand's actual character — playful confidence, feminine precision, and a mark built on the trust developed between client and designer through close collaboration.
System
The final system includes the primary logo mark and supporting case study photography showing the identity in use. Every element was built to work across the platforms jewelry brands live on: Instagram, packaging, and product tags.
Outcome
The brand launched with an identity that felt considered and complete rather than assembled. The name, mark, and visual direction all pointed in the same direction — which is exactly what a new brand needs to build recognition from zero.
