Plantphilia is a virtual Instagram shop offering ornamental and fruit-bearing plants to young adults. The brand needed an identity system that could cut through the noise of a chronically distracted online audience.

Problem

Plantphilia's target demographic — millennials and Gen Z — are universally distracted online. A generic plant-shop aesthetic wouldn't hold attention. The brand needed visual identity elements that were aesthetically strong enough to stop a scroll.

Approach

Created an identity system that leads with carefully considered negative space and a color palette rooted in the brand's earthy character. A green that sat between bright and brown reinforced the natural, living quality of the product without feeling generic. A rounded, thin typeface echoed the delicate stems of plants.

System

The system included a primary logo, color and typography specimens, logo studies exploring multiple mark directions, and social media design templates built to maintain identity consistency across Instagram posts and stories.

Outcome

The identity gave Plantphilia a visual presence strong enough to compete for attention in a crowded, image-heavy platform. The earthy palette and refined mark attracted the aesthetic-conscious audience the brand was built for.
